We know this can be a very stressful time. You’re likely feeling hopeless and desperate for a solution. We are here to help you!
IF YOU NEED HELP IMMEDIATELY, DIAL 2-1-1 TO DISCUSS OPTIONS FOR EMERGENCY SHELTER.
For non-urgent needs, you can contact us at 419.244.3200 ext. 106 to learn about our transitional housing intake process.
When you call, our staff will discuss the best way to proceed depending upon your specific situation and needs. We will go over our program with you including the commitments we require and support we can offer you. We’ll also answer any questions you may have. If you’re a good candidate for our program, we will schedule a face-to-face meeting with you.
During this meeting (also called an intake appointment), we will dive deeper into detail about the program and your housing needs. You’ll receive an admission packet with a list of documents you must provide to us. Once we receive this information, an admission decision will be made and a move-in date set.
This entire process can take up to two weeks. Please be patient and remember that the faster you get the documents to us, the faster we can process them!
Should we determine that Aurora Project isn’t a good fit for you, we will provide you with resources and other options in the community that may be able to help.
